L&CPU Individual Competition

Don’t forget there is only 24 hours left to enter the L&CPU individual competition. There has been very few entries from the club this year ☹ Please consider entering,  Individual authors may up-load their entries through the L&CPU Information Portal ( http://lcpu-portal.org) using your email address and password. An Individual Password can be sought by requesting password on the Information Portal login. If you are unsure, email: competitions@lcpu.org.uk.

A photographer may enter up to 12 images in the Open section and 6 images in Nature.
Image size – maximum 1600 pixels (horizontal & 1200 pixels (vertical). Colour spage sRGB (even mono images).

AGM 22nd April 2021

L&CPU Individual Competition Entries

The Portal for entries into the L&CPU Individual Competition is now open. All members are welcome to and encouraged to enter;

-Individual authors may up-load their entries through the L&CPU Information Portal ( http://lcpu-portal.org) using your email address and Password (I would encourage this). An Individual Password can be sought by requesting password on the Information Portal login. If you are unsure, email: competitions@lcpu.org.uk
– Entries can be made by Club Competition Secretaries via the L&CPU Information Portal. If you wish me to upload your entry send to the usual competitions.mcc@gmail.com address.
– The last day for all online entries is 2nd May 2021 (if you are uploading your own – if you want me to upload them, then I must receive them by the 27th April).
– An image used in previous L&CPU Individual Competition may not be entered.
– A photographer may enter up to 12 images in the Open section and 6 images in Nature.

Massive congratulations to all the winners of this years Annual Competition. There were some excellent images as always, so I am sure it was a tough decision for our judge for the evening Pat Couder, who did an amazing job, with some excellent and constructive feedback.

This week we have a talk by our own Phil Bell who is going to share some of the useful apps you can get to help you achieve the best from your photography, things like; checking weather, sunrise, sunset, sun positions, star positions and much more! This will be a very useful and informative talk, particularly for anyone who likes their landscape photography 🌄🌅🌆🌃

L&CPU club competition results

The 2021 L&CPU PDI Club Championship results will be shown via a Zoom meeting on Saturday 20th March 2021, starting at 10.00am. We have entries from all active club members who regularly enter into the club competitions. All images and scores will be shown for both the Open and Nature Sections. The zoom link has been sent via email. 😊
