Annual competition Results

This Thursday is the biggest and last competition evening of the season. We have a new to us judge -Pat Couder so we are in for an exciting evening πŸ˜€ Good luck to everyone who entered.

Easter social 1st April 2021

This week is our Easter social and quiz 😊 BYOB πŸ₯‚πŸ˜‚ As always at our social evenings, partners are welcome to join in too πŸ‘« The more the merrier πŸ˜€ There will be prizes for the quiz winners, so get swotting πŸ€“ Zoom link has been sent via email.

Thursday 25th March 2021

This week we have a talk by our own Phil Bell who is going to share some of the useful apps you can get to help you achieve the best from your photography, things like; checking weather, sunrise, sunset, sun positions, star positions and much more! This will be a very useful and informative talk, particularly for anyone who likes their landscape photography πŸŒ„πŸŒ…πŸŒ†πŸŒƒ

L&CPU club competition results

The 2021 L&CPU PDI Club Championship results will be shown via a Zoom meeting on Saturday 20th March 2021, starting at 10.00am. We have entries from all active club members who regularly enter into the club competitions. All images and scores will be shown for both the Open and Nature Sections. The zoom link has been sent via email. 😊

This week we have the results of our 5 new images, folio and accumulator competitions πŸ˜€ Good luck to all who entered! Don’t forget entries for the annuals are due in by 4th April and look out for an email with information for the AGM 😊

Thursday 11th March 2021

This week is our 5 new images competition. This competition is a chance for members to submitΒ previously unseen images. It is judged β€˜in house’ on the night, then the scores are added together, and the overall winner is announced at a later date. This year members should submit their scores by completing an online Google form – if they have a 2nd device (eg tablet or phone) they will be able to submit their scores whilst the images are being viewed – otherwise they will be asked to make a note of their scores whilst viewing, then submit their scores later.Β Marks between 4 and 10 to be awarded, and the winner is the image with the highest score. Good luck everyone πŸ˜ƒ

This week our chair, Ellen will be talking about her journey towards photographic distinctions. Guests welcome as always, message for details 😊 zoom link has been sent via email.

Also, don’t forget entries for 5 new images are due by Sunday evening 7th March. These should be previously unseen images and no nature images are allowed. Send to the usual competition email address 😁
