Following a successful evening sharing and discussing images this week, we have decided to do it again on Tuesday as we didn’t get through all the wonderful images submitted. It would be great to have a few more members involved, so if you have a couple of images you could share, or if anyone who joined last wed has any more pictures they want to discuss, please send them to the usual competition email address and join us from 8pm on 16th Jun. Joining details to follow via email 😊 Hope to see you all then 😀
Don’t forget to send a few images to share with the club tomorrow evening (Wed) They don’t need to be competition standard, just a few images you would like to talk about 😊 Send to the usual competition email address by lunchtime on Wed, and for instructions on how to join the meeting, please check your emails (if not got anything, please check your junk box). Hope to see you all tomorrow from 7.45pm for an 8.15pm start 😁

After the success of the previous virtual meeting, we have decided run a night for sharing some of your lockdown images (or any previously unseen). Tell us a little bit about each of them. If this goes well, we will look at arranging a virtual speaker 😊 send upto 4 images to email@example.com and a link to join will follow in the next few days 😊 If anyone is struggling with joining please contact one of the committee. Keep safe and hope to see you Wednesday 😀
**UPDATE ** The test meeting worked well, but with limited attendees, would be lovely to see a few more for the vote 😊 We are now holding this on Friday at 8pm, please check your email for more information ** This week we are going to try our first virtual meeting. There will be a trial run on Tuesday at 7.30pm. If you haven’t used Zoom before, you can go to the website and join a ‘test meeting’ to check your microphone and video is set-up. On Thursday we’re planning to show entries and vote on them, for the promotional image that will be used on website/Facebook/syllabus next year 😊 Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions 👍
This year, our annuals have been slightly different and we have been very lucky to have them judged! Big thanks to Ken Ainscow for judging and giving such constructive comments. Since we were not able to meet for our competition, Graham Dean (our competition secretary and valued club member) prepared two virtual competition videos for our members to enjoy.
