**UPDATE ** The test meeting worked well, but with limited attendees, would be lovely to see a few more for the vote 😊 We are now holding this on Friday at 8pm, please check your email for more information ** This week we are going to try our first virtual meeting. There will be a trial run on Tuesday at 7.30pm. If you haven’t used Zoom before, you can go to the website and join a ‘test meeting’ to check your microphone and video is set-up. On Thursday we’re planning to show entries and vote on them, for the promotional image that will be used on website/Facebook/syllabus next year 😊 Email email@example.com if you have any questions 👍

This year, our annuals have been slightly different and we have been very lucky to have them judged! Big thanks to Ken Ainscow for judging and giving such constructive comments. Since we were not able to meet for our competition, Graham Dean (our competition secretary and valued club member) prepared two virtual competition videos for our members to enjoy. Hope everyone is coping with the current situation – this is just a quick reminder that entries for our annual competition should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by the end of this coming Sunday. Please note that there are just TWO sections (Nature & Open) – portraits, Table Top/Still Life, Mono should all be entered in Open. Please check the rules which can be found on the website. Judging will be done remotely and results sent to members electronically on the original date planned. Stay safe.
We have made the decision to cancel the meeting this Thursday 19th March, due to the retirement of the owner of the raptor rescue centre and the COVID-19 outbreak. We will keep you informed of our decision regarding the remaining meetings this season depending on the latest government advice.
On Thursday we have the results of the members 5 new images competition, accumulator and the folio competition 😊 Good luck everyone 😁
This week we have the fantastic Adrian Lines coming to do his talk which is an exploration of 3 kinds of imagery. Everyone welcome 😊
